The Bloembollenbaan is a challenging 9-hole public golf course with qualifying status. The course features a tee box on a 23-meter-high mound and stretches over a length of 1,825 meters. There is a unique 425-meter par-5 hole where the tee is at sea level and the green is 18 meters above sea level. This is a unique feature in the Netherlands. In addition, there are three par-4 holes ranging up to 375 meters in length. On hole 3, which is 375 meters long, the tee is 23 meters above sea level, while the green is at sea level. From this highest point, you can enjoy a stunning view of the skylines of Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, and The Hague. There are also five par-3 holes ranging up to 180 meters in length, including the challenging “blind” hole 2. The presence of beautiful water features and bunkers adds an extra challenge to the fairways and around the greens.

The golf course utilizes sandy soil as its ideal foundation, and thanks to drainage and irrigation systems, excellent playability is guaranteed year-round. The course’s unique character is enhanced by the 23-meter-high mound, which offers a fabulous view of the entire bulb-growing region. The undulating holes have an open layout and offer a stunning panorama. The distinctive features of Tespelduyn Golf Course are further highlighted by its integration with the ecological corridor between the dunes and Keukenhof.
