Welcome to the Drentsche Golf & Country Club. Nestled in the wooded surroundings of Zeijen, just north of Assen, lies a unique golf complex. With a 27-hole championship course, a 9-hole par-3 course, and the 32-room Golf Lodge, the Drentsche Golf & Country Club is the ideal base from which to discover golf in the northern Netherlands.
The Drentsche Golf & Country Club is part of a large, open nature reserve spanning 240 hectares and is situated in an attractive landscape among fields and wooded areas, interspersed with beautiful oak-lined avenues. No less than 140 hectares of this area are reserved for this exceptionally spacious golf course, ensuring you’ll be surrounded by peace and open space. In addition to the 27-hole championship course, the Drentsche Golf & Country Club also features a 9-hole par-3 course. Holes ranging from 80 to 130 meters, full-sized greens, and numerous obstacles make this par-3 course a challenge for both beginners and advanced golfers.

Course Type: The 27-hole championship course, designed by a renowned golf course architect, is divided into three 9-hole courses. Each course has its own unique character, length, and level of difficulty. Yellow: The yellow course is open, and you’ll encounter various water hazards as you play. (2,798 meters, par 35)
Red: The red course features a few wooded holes, holes with challenging large water hazards, a blind hole, and a few holes lined with shrubs. This gives the red course loop a park-like character (3,140 meters, par 37).
White: The White Course was built within an existing wooded area and can therefore be considered a true woodland course. (2,989 meters, par 36)

Top 5 in the Netherlands
The par-3 course ranks among the top 5 most beautiful par-3 courses in the Netherlands thanks to its full-sized greens, variety in length, and challenging obstacles. The holes are mostly lined with shrubs, making it a true park course.
